Norma Lynn Buell received her Masters of Science in Social Work attended the Columbia University School of Social Work in 1987. Before opening her private psychotherapy practice, she provided counseling in agencies for seven years.
She completed her psychoanalytic training at the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in 2002 and was certified in psychoanalysis by the American Psychoanalytic Association in 2002. She is on faculty on the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, COR Northwest Family Development Center and the Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society. She is a member of NASW, APsaA, and the IPA. She is also co-chair of a discussion group on psychoanalysis and opera at the American Psychoanalytic Association and chair of the local discussion group entitled “Opera on the Couch.” She is accepting new patients and clinical consultees.
