Specialty/Practice Description:

Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with adults, adolescents and couples, clinical consultation
I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, trained at the Northwestern Psychoanalytic Society(NPS), and a member of the faculty at both NPS and the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. I teach and speak widely to clinical organizations in the Seattle area. My original training was as a marriage, family and child counselor, and I maintained a private practice in Los Angeles for many years. Since 1999 I have been in private practice in Seattle , working with adults, adolescents, and couples. I have a special interest in artistic and intellectual work. My Ph.D. is in European literature and philosophy, from Cornell University, and I have found that study very helpful in my practice. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington and am currently accepting new patients and consultees.
