Arches National Park has over 2000 arches that were formed over the course of 100 million years, formed by erosion from ice, temperature extremes, and underground salt movement. Besides arches, park highlights include balanced rocks, spires, pinnacles, and hoo-doos as well as signs of Puebloan and Ute peoples who left petroglyphs.
After spending the day on various trails in the park, we hiked from Wolfe Ranch to Delicate Arch to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen.
