We will definitely have to return to North Cascades during the summer. Our visit was in the winter, so we were able to see some beautiful ice covered trees and snow capped mountains. And Seattle is a great city to visit any time of year.
Olympic had everything – rain forest, 70 miles of coastline, gorgeous western sunset, and driftwood collecting on pebbled beaches. My favorite photos have the sun’s rays streaming through the trees and the light on the shore was incredible.
Everglades was one of the first National Parks Randy and I visited together in 2008. After hiking in waist-high water through Cyprus Domes, we realized that we had been hiking with alligators! Good god, I don’t think I want to do that again!
